The Albany Capitals Girls' Basketball Club is one of the premier AAU programs in the Northeast. Over the past 25 years, the Club has earned an excellent reputation among AAU and college coaches for fielding highly competitive, talented and well coached teams. If you want to play with and against the best, the Albany Capitals is the place for you.

| Congratulations to Coach Colleen Organ and our 2009 12 State Team for finishing the season with an impressive 24-2 overall record. They capped off their run by winning the Syracuse Pre-Nationals at the Carrier Dome. |

| 6/18/2009 | The GymRat Chellenge goes to our 15 National Team! |
| The Albany Capitals captured the 15-under bracket with a 40-32 victory over Philly Triple Threat in the championship game. Taliah Pounds was named the MVG (Most Valuable GymRat) and Lea McClain, Jaci Oskam, Allison Setter, and Tehresa Coles were all named to the All-GymRat CHALLENGE Team! |

| DiBacco, who played her college basketball at Siena, served the past three seasons as assistant coach under Chris LaBombard. She previously was coach at Bishop Gibbons and has spent the last six years coaching with the Albany Capitals. |

The Albany Capitals serve the Greater Capital District in upstate NY, though players may come from outside this area. The club is registered with the Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) as part of the Adirondack District.
