Welcome to the Albany Capitals

The Albany Capitals Girls' Basketball Club is one of the premier AAU programs in the Northeast. Over the past 25 years, the Club has earned an excellent reputation among AAU and college coaches for fielding highly competitive, talented and well coached teams. If you want to play with and against the best, the Albany Capitals is the place for you.

TRYOUTS for the 2016 season:

Sunday, January 24th at the College of St. Rose

5th and 6th grade: 2:15-3:45pm

7th grade: 3:45-5:15pm

8th grade: 5:15-6:45pm

Meet player number three on our NewsChannel 13 Rensselaer Honda High School Girls All-Star Basketball Team. She is a repeat winner.

Congratulations to Sydney Brown from Shenendehowa.

The talented 6-foot-0 junior guard is averaging 14-points, 12-rebounds and seven assists per game.

Brown is a three-year starter for the Plainsmen, who is being recruited by a boatload of Division I schools, including UAlbany, Princeton, Seton Hall and Marquette.

Channel 13 All Star #2: Jenna Giacone

Congratulations to Bethlehem senior guard Jenna Giacone who is #2 on the NewsChannel 13 Rensselaer Honda girls high school basketball all-star team. The 5 foot 11 inch senior runs the show for the Eagles. Giacone averages 17 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists per game. Jenna chose Dayton over Virginia Tech and Virginia.
