Albany Capitals Coaches
The Albany Capitals organization prides itself on the quality of its coaches. They are all knowledgeable, experienced basketball people who share a love for the game and a desire to teach its fundamentals.
Steve Lombard - Head Coach
16 National - 11th Grade
Steve is currently varsity head coach at Saratoga Catholic High School. Steve has coached boys and girls high school basketball for 17 years. This will be his 9th year as a Capitals coach.
Joe Murphy - Assistant Coach
16 National - 11th Grade
Joe is currently the freshman girls coach at Shenendehowa High School, Joe has 12 years of coaching experience at the high school level. This will be Joe's 9th year with the Capitals
Audra DiBacco - Head Coach
15 National - 10th Grade
Audra is currently the varsity coach at Catholic Central High School. Prior to that, Audra spent four seasons as varsity head coach at Bishop Gibbons High School. Audra played in college at Siena and is entering her 10th year as a coach with the Capitals.
Guy DiBacco - Assistant Coach
15 National - 10th Grade
Guy is entering his 9th year as the boys varsity coach at Lansingburgh High School. He was previously the boys varsity coach at Catholic Central High School. Guy has also coached AAU boys basketball for 14 years. This will be Guy's 5th year coaching with the Capitals.
Colleen Organ - Head Coach
15 State - 10th Grade
Colleen played basketball at The College of St. Rose. She is currently assistant women's basketball coach at HVCC. Prior, Colleen coached the girls junior varsity basketball team at Mohonasen High School for 3 years. This will be Colleen's 5th year coaching with the Capitals.
Karrah Madden - Assistant Coach
15 State - 10th Grade
Don Kimmey - Head Coach
14 National - 9th Grade
Don is currently the girls junior varsity head coach at Catholic Central High School. Prior to his 10 years coaching in high school, Don coached youth basketball for ten years. He is beginning his 15th year as a Capitals coach.
Matt Bixby - Assistant Coach
14 National - 9th Grade
Matt is currently the varsity head coach at Bethlehem. This is Matt's 3rd year coaching with the Capitals.
Gary Pascucci - Head Coach
14 State - 9th Grade
This will be Gary's 3rd year coaching with the Capitals. He has been coaching boys basketball for more than 12 years at Lansingburgh. He also coached girls basketball at Martha's Vineyard Regional High School for two seasons. Gary attended SUNY Cortland and Sage College and is currently a physical education teacher in the Lansingburgh Central School District.
Doug Holden - Assitant Coach
14 State - 9th Grade
Doug is currently the varsity head coach at Notre Dame - Bishop Gibbons. He has also coached at the youth, high school, college and AAU levels for the last 20+ yrs. This will be Doug's 3rd year coaching with the Capitals.
Paul Iachetta - Head Coach
13 National - 8th Grade
Paul is a former varsity head coach at Ballston Spa HS. Prior to that, the girl's JV coach at Waterford Halfmoon HS. Paul also coached AAU boys teams for three years. Paul played basketball at HVCC and was Athletic Director for CCHS. This will be his 8th year of coaching in the Capitals organization.

Erin Panetta - Head Coach
12 National - 7th Grade
Erin is a former Capital. She played basketball at Bryant College. This will be Erin's 5th year coaching with the Capitals.
