Albany Capitals Tryouts

14 and Under - 16 and Under

The Albany Capitals will conduct tryouts for their 14u, 15u and 16u teams for the 2010 season. Players are expected to try out both days unless there are unavoidable conflicts. The date, time and location of tryouts for each age level are listed below. Please try to arrive at least 15 minutes early for registration on the first day.

Saturday, March 13, 2010
14 and under (9th graders) 5:00 PM - 6:30 PM
15 and under (10th graders) 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM
16 and under (11th graders) 8:00 PM - 9:30 PM

Sunday, March 14, 2010
14 and under (9th graders) 10:00 AM - 12:00 N
15 and under (10th graders) 12:00 N - 2:00 PM
16 and under (11th graders) 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM

The tryout fee is $20 (CASH ONLY PLEASE), payable at registration on the first day of tryouts. This fee includes an AAU enrollment for the year whether you make a Capitals team or not.

The Capitals’ player participation fee for 2010 is $385. This fee must be paid upon a player’s selection on the second day of tryouts unless alternative arrangements are made with the Club President or Treasurer. No player should be dissuaded from trying out due to financial reasons.

Directions to Colonie Central High School

From North

Take I-87 south to exit 2E.
Proceed about 1/2 mile and look for a (mostly red) Valvoline instant oil change sign on the left hand side.
Hackett Ave. will be right after that.
Turn left onto Hackett Ave.
The school is at the end of Hackett Ave.

From South and West

Take the thruway to exit 24.
Take exit 1N to get on the Northway.
Shortly after that, take exit 2E.
Keep right at the fork in the ramp.
Proceed about 1/3 mile and look for a (mostly red) Valvoline instant oil change sign on the left hand side.
Hackett Ave will be right after that.
Turn left onto Hackett Ave.
The school is at the end of Hackett Ave.

From East

Take I-90 West to exit 2 (Fuller Rd).
At the end of the ramp, there will be a light. Turn right onto Fuller Rd.
Proceed until you get to Central Ave. You cannot go straight anymore.
Turn left onto Central Ave.
Keep in the right most lane when you get onto Central Ave.
Proceed less than 1/10 mile and look for Grace Memorials on your right hand side.
Hackett Ave will be right after that.
Turn right onto Hackett Ave.
The school is at the end of Hackett Ave.
